Return Shipping Instructions and Compliance Policy
Please follow these instructions when shipping a return or defective product back to Horizon Hobby.
For Returns:When packing an order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process the return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages.
-
Items must be in all the original packing material, including the foam
inserts, tie downs and bracings.
- Ensure all instruction papers and/or manuals are included.
- Horizon Hobby reserves the right to refuse return on kits with a broken protective seal on the packaging.
- We recommended taking photos of the condition and packaging of the items in case damage occurs during shipping.
- Place items inside a larger cardboard box and pad the items to protect them from shifting around inside of the larger box. Peanuts, bubble wrap, air wrap or even wadded up newspaper can be used.
- Put the RMA form – not the shipping label – inside of the box. This ensures we know who the return is from in case the outer box gets damaged.
- Close the box, and ensure it is taped well.
-
If there is a return label, taped it on well and cover the addresses
with tape to prevent smearing.
- Returns sent COD will not be accepted.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to the product while in transit back to us, so please add insurance to the return shipment.
- Except for incorrectly shipped items, the customer is responsible for and must pay shipping charges.
- When applicable, the customer is responsible for all brokerage fees, duties and taxes associated with the service and shipment of product.
Before returning defective product, all customers must contact Product Support for approval of the return.
-
Please carefully protect the item when shipping back.
- Do not return batteries for defective or DOA products unless instructed to do so – please remove them before shipping.
